dc.description.abstractCurrently, network components required smooth operation to guarantee bandwidth and physical connection of whole system. The measure should be taken to supervise and fix the problem instantaneously in real time. The core solution is SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) adopted to tackle and optimum the network system in terms of management. Zabbix and Cacti are the two solutions put forward to administer network traffic and physical connection situation of network components. The deployment of the whole system is constructed by virtual workstation and Linux operating system. In addition, Zabbix and Cacti are the open sources software for network and application monitoring and provides agents to monitor remote hosts as well as including support for monitoring via SNMP requiring MySQL, PHP , RDDTool, net-snmp and a webserver that support PHP such as Apache. What’s more, the system requires efficient warning features result in establishing SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and SMS Gateway which are necessary for email clients and SMS communication away from home network. Eventually, the outcome of our project guarantees the requirement of supervisors such as managing capabilities via SNMP (network traffic, physical connection, hardware of clients), visual web interfaces, warning notifications. Consequently, administers can detect and resolve the problems network system straight away discover the issues. The following contents of this paper are going to analyze and point out the processes and results to finalize the project.en_US
