dc.description.abstractThese days, electronic control units (ECUs) are widely used in advanced intelligent automobiles. These ECUs use firmware to maintain a variety of vehicle operations. Firmware updates are often created by automotive manufacturers to correct issues or improve the operation of the vehicle. In the automobile industry, software update procedures are crucial and time-consuming. This thesis proposes an innovative approach to vehicle updates that will assist Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in lowering costs, decreasing recalls, raising quality, simplifying updates, and gaining better control over their fleet of cars. This new method involves upgrading car ECUs wirelessly without requiring a direct physical connection to the vehicle. In addition, whenever something breaks in a car, we need to figure out what occurred or is occurring so we can take the proper action. The word "diagnostic" refers to a service that a vehicle provides (to produce information on the status of the vehicle), which we may then request in order to learn about the conditions, symptoms, and issues with the vehicle and carry out repair or configuration. To provide standardized methods of accomplishing it, the diagnostic procedure UDS takes the stage. All of solution above are communication through wireless connection.en_US
