Development of LPWAN technologies (Low Power Wide Area Network) is extending M2M connectivity. In France, several network providers have started to deploy a LoRa network for IoT market.
In this project, the objective of this project is the creation of a prototype of a wearable device enabling the monitoring of elderly people during their everyday activities based on Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies. The main work will be dedicated to the design of the miniature antennas, taking into account the influence of the body. We have developed two kinds of solutions. The first one is an small inverted F antenna with the magneto material above to reduce the body effect on the antenna‟s performance. The second one is an planar inverted F antenna with different radiation pattern.en_US
