Researching structured cable networks (scn) and monitoring system at the international terminal of Da Nang airport

Abstract

Currently, network components required smooth operation to guarantee bandwidth and physical connection of the whole system. The measure should be taken to supervise and fix problems instantaneously in real-time. Hence, we decided to design and implement a monitoring system to observe network components of the system. The development of the whole system is constructed by virtual workstation - VMWare and Linux operating system. In the scope of the project, we are going to implement and perform the Zabbix system, using Zabbix monitor remote hosts via SNMP requiring MySQL, PHP, and web servers that support PHP such as Apache. The system requires efficient warning features that result in establishing SSMTP (Secure Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) which are necessary for email client's communication away from administrators. Eventually, we designed a module to provide automatic solutions for some common errors in network systems by sending the email.
