Phạm, Minh Tuấn | Keywords: | Network configuration;Graph database;AWS cloud | Issue Date: | 2023 | Abstract: | The focus of this graduation thesis is on finding a graph database solution for centralized network configuration management in the AWS cloud. The objective is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of managing network configurations in the AWS cloud environment. Traditional approaches to network configuration management often involve manual processes and lack the scalability required in dynamic cloud environments. Therefore, the need for an automated and centralized solution is evident. To address this challenge, I have conducted extensive research on graph databases and their applicability to network configuration management. Graph databases are a type of NoSQL database that leverage graph structures to represent and store data, making them highly suitable for managing complex relationships between different network elements and configurations. One of the key components of the project is the focus on security. The solution will incorporate robust security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network configuration data. This will involve implementing encryption mechanisms and access control policies to protect sensitive information and mitigate the risk of unauthorized access or data breaches. To provide a comprehensive analysis, the project will also compare various AWS solutions for network configuration management. This will include evaluating the capabilities, features, and limitations of AWS services such as AWS X-Ray, AWS ServiceLens. By comparing these solutions against the proposed graph database solution, the project aims to highlight the benefits and potential drawbacks of each approach, assisting organizations in making informed decisions regarding their network configuration management strategies in the AWS cloud. |
