Title: | Improve resource allocation for platoon vehicles in 5G-V2X communication | Authors: | Lương, Quang Nhân Tôn, Thất Trần Vũ Võ, Thiện Nhân |
Keywords: | Communication;5G-V2X | Issue Date: | 2024 | Publisher: | Trường Đại học Bách khoa - Đại học Đà Nẵng | Abstract: | This research advocates for the adoption of the Simplex tri-partite Hypergraph-based Resource Allocation (SPH-RA) method to address latency concerns in multi-platoon communications. Initially, SPH-RA allocates dedicated subchannels to platoon (PL) vehicles, ensuring exclusive use without sharing with other entities. Subsequently, a 3-partite hypergraph is employed to connect (1) a cluster of PL vehicles sharing the same subchannel, (2) an individual cellular user, and (3) a subchannel. This hypergraph forms the basis for a latency-focused resource allocation algorithm for PL vehicles. Simulation results reveal that the SPH-RA method outperforms alternative methods in terms of both latency reduction and overall transmission speed. The distinctive hypergraph structure is instrumental in crafting an efficient resource allocation algorithm tailored to mitigate latency for PL vehicles. The simulations consistently demonstrate the superiority of the SPH-RA method, emphasizing its potential for practical applications in communication systems involving platoon-based vehicular networks, particularly in optimizing latency-related performance metrics. |
