Designing dormitory management system for college students

Abstract

This project provides the searching facilities and information about students’ conditions at dormitory and various factors. It allows administration to allocate a seat of a student in the dorm and manages room distribution sector; this is an automated system where the students can take all services of dorm at online. Our hope is that the system will reduce lots of work for students, the admin panel as well. The main purposes of our system are to manage the details of old and new students, payments of students, distribute rooms among the students and manage hall programs using the web portal. The development of our system also concentrates on security of the information and privileges and access rights are attributed to students and admins. The method used to make the web portal is easier to nderstand but highly secured to maintain the information secured. In recent years, along with the rapid development of higher vocational education in our country, the higher university are doing a lot of enrollment expansion, with this kind of situation, the university dormitory management is becoming more and more heavy burden. University is hard to come by every student dormitory, under the condition of more cannot be targeted to the students' dormitory management and guidance. And with the rapid development of computer software technology and Internet technology, university of digital campus network gradually thorough, the student dormitory management information system based on intelligent data acquisition of construction has become a pressing need of high vocational colleges.
